Assessments

Driver Assessment

Unfortunately, our driving changes over the years.  Our reaction times may have got slower, our eyesight not as sharp.  Maybe we have had an accident or an operation and just need that little bit of encouragement or ease of mind in getting back behind the wheel.

Everyone wants to enjoy driving for as long as possible with as little stress. A driver assessment will provide you with the information you need and if required, some refresher training can be arranged.  We can discuss how certain changes in your drive may reduce wear and tear of your vehicle and use less fuel so saving money, which is always good for you and your car.

Having attended an assessment course, this may also help reduce insurance from some insurance companies.

If you have a medical condition or disability that may affect your driving, it is recommended you book an assessment at a Mobility Centre.

What Happens on the Assessment

Driving assessments are an honest, objective assessment of your driving. The assessment has been developed to identify your strengths and weaknesses behind the wheel and to help increase your confidence on today's busy roads.

This is not a test, so you should not feel under pressure. Our assessors are here to help.

Who is it aimed at?

This is aimed at all drivers who do not want to take a test but would like constructive feedback about their driving.

Our assessors will give you their honest opinion. We assess your driving skills and do not assess your fitness to drive. That is a matter for your GP and the DVLA.

On the day

The assessment will last for approximately one hour.

It will take place in your own vehicle and chosen location.

The assessment will be conducted by an experienced assessor, who will contact you to arrange a date and location.

We have assessors all around Northern Ireland and Ireland.
